Kevin Ramsay began his apprenticeship at the five star Caledonian Hotel in Edinburgh. He has worked throughout Scotland and abroad, in France and Australia. He then moved into the private sector working for Ambassador Fernandez at his homes in Edinburgh and Paris.
Returning from Paris, he worked as a Personal Chef to Major General Euan Loudon at Gogarbank House in Edinburgh, creating seasonal menus from the produce grown in the walled gardens and greenhouses of the House. These were served to visiting dignitaries including members of the Royal Family, Government Ministers and Foreign Ambassadors.
All this experience, means Kevin can pass on invaluable advice for creating your own dinner parties: "Consider your menu very carefully so you can prepare as much as possible in advance".
